Trandafirii la rădăcină nudă trebuie scoși din câmp doar după ce au intrat în repaus vegetativ, s-au maturizat și sunt pregătiți pentru iarnă.
Dacă sunt scoși prea devreme, plantele sunt supuse unui stres inutil, iar lăstarii nu au timp să se maturizeze și să se „lemnifice”.
La sfârșitul toamnei, odată cu scăderea temperaturilor, creșterea încetinește, frunzele cad, iar lăstarii se lignifică – adică se maturizează și se „lemnifică”. Astfel, trandafirii intră în iarnă bine pregătiți pentru temperaturile scăzute.
Nu forțăm sezonul doar pentru a livra mai devreme. Așteptăm momentul potrivit din ciclul natural al plantei, astfel încât clientul să primească un trandafir bine maturizat, viguros și pregătit pentru iarnă.

Meteor® is a modern Floribunda rose created by the famous German house W. Kordes’ Söhne, a spectacular variety due to its intense play of colors and the abundance of its blooms. The bright yellow, surrounded by red edges that become increasingly intense as the flower opens, turns every bush into a true focal point in the garden.
The flowers are very full, rich in petals, and reach approximately 6–7 cm in diameter. The chromatic combination is the defining element of the variety: the petals start from bright tones of yellow, while the edges develop warm shades of red and orange.
The color intensity can vary depending on weather conditions and sun exposure. In sunny areas, the contrast between yellow and red becomes even more spectacular, offering that vibrant effect for which Meteor® was created.
Flowering is repeated and abundant, with the plant producing new waves of flowers throughout the season.
The fragrance is subtle to moderate, so Meteor® is a variety appreciated primarily for its visual impact, the abundance of its flowers, and its unusual coloring.
The plant forms a compact, dense, and upright bush, reaching approximately 70 cm in height and 40 cm in width. The glossy, healthy green foliage creates a beautiful contrast with the intensely colored flowers.
Another major asset is the good health of the foliage. Kordes’ ratings indicate a high level of resistance to the main rose foliar diseases, including powdery mildew, rust, and black spot.
Due to its compact size, Meteor® is very versatile. It can be planted in flower beds, borders, and groups, but it is also excellent for cultivation in pots and containers, being suitable for sunny terraces and balconies.
For group plantings, Kordes recommends approximately 4–5 plants/m², so that a compact and color-rich effect can be quickly achieved.
