The Itoh Peony "Hillary" is a fascinating perennial, a perfect combination of an herbaceous garden peony and a tree peony. Its extremely sensual flowers, bathed in shades of pink, will fascinate you from the very first bloom.

It blooms from May to July and can reach a height of 80-90 cm when in flower. The flowers develop on strong stems. The "Hillary" peony loves sunny or semi-shaded areas.

It tolerates any fertile, moist, and well-drained soil. It is an excellent variety for cut flowers in a vase, as its blooms can last for up to a week.

It is the grand winner of the Award of Landscape Merit 2009 and the American Peony Society Gold Medal 2020.
