Georges Delbard never ceases to amaze us. This time, he presents us with his bluest creation, Mamy Blue. Of course, rose lovers will, at this moment, recall the thousands of petals they have touched throughout their lives to confirm or deny if this truly is the bluest Delbard creation. But we can assure you, right now, that nothing compares to the beauty of Mamy Blue.
A wonderful, purplish, particularly attractive color with bluish reflections, a strong fragrance, and a large, resistant flower are all you could wish for from a unique hybrid tea rose. Mamy Blue blooms repeatedly throughout the season, and at maturity, it reaches heights of up to 1.0 - 1.5 m. It has very good resistance to diseases as well as very good resistance in a vase, its flowers lasting up to 10-15 days. Due to its magnificent fragrance, it was awarded the Fragrance Medal in New Zealand in 1997.
Recommended for cut flowers in vases and floral arrangements. The cut flower has a vase life of approximately 10-15 days.
Quality 1+ (premium). The bushes are 2nd year, are robust, obtained by grafting onto the strongest rootstock currently available. This gives the roses vigor and great resistance over time.
