"Scarlet Heaven" is an attractive ornamental perennial with characteristically highly elegant foliage. Intersectional peony hybrids, also known as Itoh hybrids, were named in honor of Toichi Itoh, the pioneer of these unique hybrid peonies.

Healthy, strong plants form attractive, neat mounds that have a shorter stature than most peonies.

Wonderful flowers with red petals and yellow stamens in the center are displayed above the beautiful foliage that stays green longer than their herbaceous parents. Itoh hybrids are somewhat tougher than other species and are more tolerant of heat and humidity.

"Scarlet Heaven" tolerates sunny areas and even partial shade, and at maturity, the flowering plant can reach heights of 70-80 cm.

Flowering: May-June

Bush height: 70/80 cm
