Bienvenue is a spectacular semi-climbing rose created by the renowned French breeder Delbard, prized for the exceptional beauty of its flowers, refined fragrance, and excellent vigor.
Its large, spectacular flowers open in delicate shades of pink, featuring a romantic and truly unique shape. The slightly ruffled and wavy petals give the blooms an elegant texture and sophisticated appearance, turning every bloom into a true spectacle.
One of the most remarkable qualities of the Bienvenue variety is its intense and complex fragrance. At the center of the flower, fresh notes of lemon can be distinguished, while toward the outer petals, the scent evolves into more delicate, green nuances reminiscent of ivy. This unusual combination gives it a refined and memorable olfactory character.
The plant has great growth vigor, developing a robust and well-branched bush that can reach approximately 1.5–2 meters in height at maturity. Its tall habit makes it suitable for planting near fences, arches, pergolas, or other support structures, where its spectacular flowers can be admired in all their splendor.
Bienvenue is a repeat-flowering variety, offering successive waves of blooms throughout the season. Furthermore, it benefits from excellent disease resistance, making it a particularly valuable choice for those who desire both beauty and performance and reliability in the garden.
Through its impressive flowers, distinctive fragrance, and vigorous growth, Bienvenue can easily become one of the highlights of the garden. Its exceptional qualities have also been recognized in international rose competitions, where the variety has been awarded medals.
