One of the most representative and award-winning works of these rose creators is Alain Souchon, a rose with a strong and rich fragrance that, depending on the climate and other external conditions, emanates aromas of strawberries, anise, or fresh raspberries. Juries in Buenos Aires, Saverne, or Tokyo consider Alain Souchon to be the creation deserving the most applause, especially for the way it has been bred to bloom almost constantly, even between flushes.

Another thing worth mentioning about this masterpiece is that each flower has a distinct identity and individuality, all being a bright cardinal red, with more than 100 petals. Alain Souchon is the kind of work that should not be missing from any gardener’s "library" or any rose lover’s home, as its flowers, when cut and placed in a vase, last for more than a week.
