Olivia Rose

One of the newest roses created by the great David Austin in 2014, in England, is now also in the Famous Roses nurseries. It is the already well-known Olivia Rose, a delicate and refined rose for which the garden is the place where it feels most at home.

And to help you better understand the beauty of this rose, we would like to try an exercise of imagination. Let's say Famous Roses is a glossy magazine where roses from all over the world give interviews and offer advice on beauty, on the gardens where they spend their vacations, or on the velvet petal outfits they show off with every bloom. Well, in this entire glossy magazine, which is quite interesting by the way, Olivia Rose would be on the cover.

We would choose her for her delicate flowers, rich in about 90 petals, which bloom repeatedly and abundantly throughout the season. We would also choose her for the perfume section, as her flowers elegantly carry a light fragrance, and for the health page, we would choose her for her very healthy vegetation that can reach heights of 120-130 cm.

Shrub roses are known for their vigorous bushy growth, developing as self-standing bushes that do not need support or trellises, as is the case with climbing roses. They are ideal for adding volume to the garden, occupying a much more generous space than modern hybrids and offering a rich visual spectacle through their natural and dense shape.

We at Famous Roses are delighted that such a young rose catches the eye even of the greatest critics, and we are happy to have it in our collection of world-famous roses.

Recommended for cut flowers in vases and floral arrangements. The cut flower has a vase life of approximately 5 days.

Quality 1+ (premium). The bushes are 2 years old, healthy, and obtained by grafting onto the strongest rootstock in the world at present. This gives the roses vigor and great resistance over time.
