"Vanessa Bell" is a distinctive floribunda rose, created by David Austin, that brings a touch of elegance to your garden. The buds open into delicate shades of pink, forming medium-sized cups grouped in large clusters.
The flowers are infused with pale yellow hues, which open to almost white at the edges, offering a subtle and refined contrast. The scent of the flowers is reminiscent of green tea, with hints of lemon and honey, bringing a fresh and pleasant note.
The shrub forms a bushy, upright plant that can reach heights of 110-120 cm at maturity. Shrub roses are known for their vigorous shrubby growth, developing as standalone bushes that do not require support or structures, unlike climbing roses. They are ideal for adding volume to the garden, occupying much more generous space than modern hybrids and offering a rich visual spectacle through their natural and dense form.
Its name is a tribute to Vanessa Bell, an artist, designer, and founding member of the Bloomsbury Group, sister of the writer Virginia Woolf. "Vanessa Bell" blooms repeatedly throughout the season, and it will certainly bring an extra touch of refinement and beauty to your garden.
