Rhapsody in Blue

In the attached photo, we have a superb floribunda with rich, blue flowers. As the name suggests, after all. Rhapsody In Blue. Except it is clear to everyone that this rose is neither light blue nor blue. But rather, violet.

But that is precisely the play of this wonderful rose endowed by Mother Nature with an exceptional color. Up close, it has a violet-purple color with a white center and yellow, semi-double stamens that are very soft to the touch. But, seen from afar, it appears to be blue.

For us at Famous Roses, Rhapsody In Blue is both blue and violet. It is blue when we admire it from afar, complementing the currant red or the intense velvety red of other roses, or the orange and lemon yellow of other wonders in the famous nursery. But it is also violet-purple when planted solitarily or when we get close to feel its fine, soft petals. Or to enjoy its intense fragrance.

And speaking of the play of colors, its foliage is, both up close and from afar, dark green and very attractive, and the rose can reach a total height of 100-120 cm at maturity.

Quality 1+ (premium). The bushes are 2-year-old, vigorous, obtained by grafting on the strongest rootstock in the world today. This gives the roses vigor and great long-term resistance.
