If we had more time to enjoy nature, we would certainly be happier. There are so many textures and shapes, so many colors and scents, so many roses that can bring us peace or offer us their warmth when we feel the need for a hug. We just need to start noticing all these things more often.

And for this, we have the great rose breeders who have the superpower of packing all of nature into a single rose. David Austin is one of them, and his creations are countless, most of them famous all over the world.

Pat Austin is a good example. A superb floribunda created in 1995 that we managed to bring to Romania and have already sent to many rose lovers across the country. Because it is the kind of rose that can quickly find its way into your heart.

It will charm you from the very first moment with its bright, beautifully colored flowers that emanate, if you get close, a strong tea fragrance. These flowers are large and cupped, and their color is quite special: a brilliant copper-orange on the inside that opens to copper-yellow on the outside of the petals. A beauty.

Pat Austin has a repeated flowering throughout the season and, at maturity, can reach heights between 1 and 1.5 m. Shrub roses are known for their vigorous shrubby growth, developing as self-supporting bushes that do not need support or trellises, as is the case with climbing roses. They are ideal for adding volume to the garden, occupying a much more generous space than modern hybrids and offering a rich visual display through their natural and dense form.

Quality 1+ (premium). The bushes are 2-year-old, healthy, obtained by grafting on the strongest rootstock in the world at the moment. This gives the roses vigor and great long-term resistance.
